Quilceda Creek has been at the pinnacle of perfection for crafting world-class Cabernet Sauvignon in Washington state. They have been dedicated to pursuing excellence with every vintage and have solidified their position as a benchmark producer of Cabernet Sauvignon. They were the first domestic winery outside of California to receive 100-points for their 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon by Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate. Today, the winning bidder will receive not just a magnum of this trailblazing vintage, but four additionally-perfect vintages from one of Washington’s oldest and most heralded family-owned wineries. All bottles have been library-aged in-house and signed by second generation president and director of winemaking, Paul Golitzin.
You and five guests will also have the unique opportunity to spend the afternoon at the winery located in Snohomish, generally closed to the public. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by estate sommelier Julio Fay-Cruz with a glass of Champagne Louis Roederer Cristal. From there, you will take an intimate tour of the winery and state-of-the-art production facility, followed by a seated tasting of personally selected library offerings in the members-only tasting room, co-hosted by seasoned winemaker Mark Kaigas. Gourmet bites will accompany the memorable tasting.
To elevate this once-in-a-lifetime experience, the winning bidder will also receive a dinner for six at Seattle’s iconic steakhouse, Metropolitan Grill, hosted by Mark Kaigas. A recipient of Wine Spectator’s Grand Award for its outstanding wine program and one of the best steakhouses in Seattle, the Metropolitan Grill will create a special menu perfectly paired to a series of Quilceda Creek library bottles specially fit for the occasion.
You and your guests will also be granted expedited placement onto the Quilceda Creek allocation-only mailing list (generally over a year-long wait), beginning in January 2025. Since its founding in 1978, Quilceda Creek has earned 26 perfect scores across the country’s most esteemed critics, drawing a following of passionate Cabernet Sauvignon fans across the world.
