Meet the Winemakers
Winemaker Picnic is your chance to go beyond the bottle and connect face to face with the people behind Washington’s most exciting wines. With 80+ winemakers on-site and over 200 wines being poured, there’s something for every palate – whether you’re a seasoned collector or just starting to explore.
This year, we’ve invited Washington’s AVA associations to pour alongside their member wineries, giving you a more meaningful sense of place as you taste.
Participating associations include the Lake Chelan Wine Alliance, Goose Gap, The Hills Winegrower Association, Kitsap Winery Alliance, Alliance of Women in Washington Wine, and Seattle Urban Wineries. Wineries whose association is participating will pour within their regional area; others will be featured at the all-Washington Tasting Bar!
Our Vintner Stations are back and better than ever, now spanning four curated tents, each spotlighting eight wineries around a unifying theme. Each winemaker will pour a wine that fits their tent’s theme, and may bring a second wine to compare or contrast – a different vintage, vineyard, or varietal that showcases the range of their craft.
The four themes are:

- Unique & Off-The-Beaten-Path
If bubbles and Rosé are your thing, we’ve got a dedicated station pouring a curated selection of sparkling wines and Rosés from across Washington state.

The Winemaker Select Live Auction puts you face to face with 30 winemakers, giving you the opportunity to ask about the grapes, the aging, and how the wine will evolve between now and release. Taste samples and place a bid, then watch closely – only five bids per lot stay on the board, and every new bid must beat the last!
