DeLille Cellars 28-Vintage Harrison Hill

Vertical Tasting and Four-Course Dinner with DeLille Principals & Jeb Dunnuck

Join DeLille Co-founder Jay Soloff, Winemaker Nick Bernstein, esteemed wine critic Jeb Dunnuck, and Owner of Harrison Hill Vineyard, Todd Newhouse, for an exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enjoy a 28-vintage vertical tasting of DeLille Cellars’ Harrison Hill wines (1994-2021). Jay Soloff and Catherine Hay have generously donated this vertical from their private cellar. This tasting, moderated by Jeb Dunnuck, will showcase the evolution of Washington’s Bordeaux-style red wine, where you will get the rare opportunity to experience the wine in its youth as well as the unique complexities introduced when a bottle of wine is aged for nearly three decades.

DeLille Cellars is regarded as a top Bordeaux-inspired producer in Washington state, showcasing a tradition of quality and excellence over its three decade history. They have been featured in Wine Spectator’s and Wine Enthusiast’s Top 100 Guide, as well as named one the Top Five American Wineries in Wine Enthusiast. They were one of the first five wineries in Washington state to receive Robert Parker’s Outstanding rating and was named one of the top 100 wineries of the world by Wine & Spirits Magazine.

Harrison Hill, aptly named for the single vineyard from which the grapes are sourced, was DeLille Cellars’ third red wine produced in the 1994 vintage. This vineyard, planted in 1962, is home to the second oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines in Washington State. Owner, Todd Newhouse, keeps yields low, creating extremely concentrated fruit. The resulting wines are complex, expressive, and distinct to this vineyard. Over the 28 vintages of DeLille’s Harrison Hill Red Blend, the wine has received over eighty 90+ point scores from national critics.

You and your guests will also be treated to a four-course dinner held at a Fire & Vine Hospitality restaurant which will be selected by CEO, Chad McKay, at a later date based on seasonality. Each of the four courses will be crafted to uniquely complement the full body and notes of dark fruits typical to this wine while keeping in mind the current stage of each vintage’s development.
