  • Red cherry and fresh herb on the nose with hints of crushed stone and mocha. Bright and pleasing on the palate, with a generous fruit driven midpalate and a long, clean finish. 
  • The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were gently destemmed before being berry sorted.   
  • After a brief pre-fermentation soak, this wine was fermented on skins in oak upright fermenters for an average of 26 days, before being gently pressed.  This wine was aged for 28 months in 80% new oak from several French coopers.

  • This Cabernet is from a specially selected barrel from the oldest block of Avennia Estate Cabernet,
    planted in 1985. It features aromas of dark currant, black plum, licorice pastille, Kona coffee, tanned
    leather, and toasted herbs. The palate is large scaled and generous, swirling with crème de cassis,
    mocha powder, and roasted thyme tincture. Certainly, a wine that will be great out of the cellar and for
    decades to come.
  •  The Avennia Estate Vineyard is the perfect place for Cabernet Sauvignon, featuring warm summer days,
    old vines, and an ideal southwest aspect.

  • A nose rich with ripe black fruit such as black cherries and berries and Italian culinary herbs such as
    oregano, thyme and rosemary, this savory blend was bottled in July 2023 under TCA-free cork.
  • Grapes were grown at salmon safe certified Stillwater Creek Vineyard. The Cabernet is a mix of six
    clones and two vine trainings including the original own-rooted plantings from 2001 and a newer block
    established in 2016. The Petit Verdot comes from one block planted in 2001.
  • The fruit was wholly destemmed and fermented in open top bins with twice daily punch downs and
    aged in 68% new French oak for 20 months

  • The Sauer family have always been pioneers, keen on exploring what varietals thrive in their sprawling
    vineyard. In 2000, their quest for experimenting and learning led them to plant Malbec in the highest
    section of their Marcoux block. DeLille began working with this same block in 2012, and quickly
    discovered its charm in the cellar, eventually bottling 200 cases of that first vintage for our Wine Club.
    Now, after ten years of refinement in the vineyard and cellar, we are preparing to bottle the 2022 Red
    Willow Malbec. This effort has notes of marionberry, red plum, and rose pedal on the nose. The
    mouthfeel has beautiful texture and weight, with hints of milk chocolate and tobacco leaf. Red Willow
    fruit always has firm structure, but this is most welcome in a varietal that can often lack it. This wine is
    lively, fresh, and will be easy to enjoy on its release.

  • The wine is a saturated, dark crimson color, boasting an exotic nose of black fruits, baking spices, coffee,

  • FIGGINS is nestled in the Blue Mountain foothills overlooking the Walla Walla Valley And is inspired by
    the success of the Figgins family's Leonetti Cellar varietal wines. Chris Figgins planted the site in 2004
    with the goal of cultivating single vineyard, Bordeaux-style wines of world class quality.
  • From the “Miracle Vintage of 2022” this Cabernet Sauvignon is made from the “Sunrise Block”. Berries
    from this block are small and intense, which is reflected in the wine. A few things make this wine
    unique, including that is grown at 1700' elevation, on a unique trellis system called Lyre, which despite
    its labor-intensive nature, doubles plant density per acre without increasing yields

  • Petit Verdot from our finest blocks at Quintessence, Olsen and Ciel du Cheval, with a small amount of
    Cabernet Sauvignon to elevate the blend. The Petit Verdot grapes from Quintessence offer explosive
    blue fruit aromas and a layered, dynamic finish. The grapes from Olsen vineyard add layers of intense
    floral notes and an expansive palate. Ciel du Cheval grapes provide a dense, meaty core of black and
    blue fruits with a long supple finish. The Quintessence Cabernet Sauvignon contributes savory spice
    notes with rich flavors and textures across the palate.
  • The 2021 vintage produced exceptionally low yields,the berries were remarkably small, and clusters
    were extremely light, producing wines with amazing depth and intensity.
  • The fruit was hand harvested in mid-October and was fermented in 1.5, 2 and 5-ton open top
    fermenters for 7-10 days. It was then lightly pressed to barrel, where it finished primary and malolactic
    fermentation and was aged for 21 months in 71% new French oak.

  • This expressive wine is layered with white pepper, cedar, and a perpetuating hint of tobacco. With no
    new oak utilized, the structure and elegance of the wine has been perfectly preserved although
    enjoyable today, this wine will benefit from at least six years of aging in the bottle.
  • Hand harvested early in the morning and delivered to the Winery. 50% de stemmed/hand sorted and
    50% whole cluster, this Grenache was gently fermented in an open top French oak tank. Fermentation
    and cap management were performed manually to mitigate any loss of varietal typicity. Post
    fermentation the free run wine was drained directly to neutral French oak Barriques.
  • This wine will continue to beautifully age 10+ years in the bottle

  • Saturated garnet in color with crimson shade. Sappy black plum, cherry fruit leather, and sweet tobacco
    leaf aromas tease the depth and complexity. On the palate it is concentrated and powerful, yet elegant
    and expansive with dried dark fruits and graphite. The finish is nicely textured and balanced with a
    quenching acidity and lingering exotic spices, blood orange, and fig.
  • Inspired by Rioja, the grapes selected are derived from three distinct vineyards of the Lawrence
    properties in the Royal Slope AVA, with similar elevation, soil type, and climate
  • Few, compact clusters and small berries, resulting in wines that are ripe, concentrated, and intense. The fruit was hand-harvested and
    small lots were fermented in stainless steel for 30-40 days, then aged for two years in 75% new French
    oak of varying format before being vatted for additional aging.

    Family’s Solaksen vineyard on the Royal Slope.
  • Yields here in 2023 were very low – with just one cluster per shoot on most vines and berries that were
    incredibly small. The resulting wine in the cellar at the moment is showing fantastic flavor concentration
    and body, while retaining the iconic acidity and phenolic balance associated with the AVA

  • Greater Than Some is loaded with rhubarb, strawberries, raspberries, Asian spices, vanilla and a
    beautiful tension that promises to evolve over time…a long, long time.
  • GSMs have been around since the ancient Australians of the 1980s (though the French and Spanish may
    have something to say about that), but we have never done one. Until now. Grenache is a crazy, multi-
    personality thing: Garnacha in Spain, Cannonau in Sardinia, a main component in Gigondas in the Rhône.
    Similarly, Syrah sings a local song, and in this blend its bass notes deepen and amplify the other
    varietals. Mourvèdre, new to our program in 2022, is its own beast, full of electricity and spice. Together
    they are much more than the sum of their individual selves.
  • Greater Than Some 2022 is the first blend of its kind produced by Sparkman Cellars, created exclusively

  • Dire Wolf is a special project from the 2022 harvest with 85% of the fruit from Boushey Vineyard and 15% from Dineen.  The varietals were co-fermented in small French oak tanks with native yeast and 30% whole cluster stem inclusion.  The wine is aging in a single 500 -liter French oak puncheon and will be bottled in Summer of 2024.

  • Aromas of blueberry and grenadine mixed with sagebrush and crushed rock, slight caramel notes in the
    background lifting the pure, ripe dark fruit aromas. Flavors match with black fruit and cocoa
    surrounding a firm but fleshy Red Mountain tannin profile. Flavors linger in the finish creating a long
    dense palate. Fruit purity is spot on with the wine.
  •  Single block from Block 32 on the far west side of Red Mountain
  • Grown in shallow fractured basalt soil

  • This intense ruby wine begins with savory aromas of tobacco, cigar box, olive, and lead pencil, followed
    by blackberry and currant. In the mouth, mature black fruits, baking spices, and culinary herbs develop.
    The balanced tannin structure leaves you with a smooth, lingering finish. This wine will age well for a
    decade with proper cellaring. Pair with hanger steak and grilled asparagus.
  • Single clone Cabernet Sauvignon that was hand harvested and sorted.
  • Fermented in native yeast in small stainless-steel tanks and will age 21 months in French oak.
